Bakery Insider: The Scoop on Ordering Ahead at Cedar Tree Kitchen

Hey, sweet patrons! It's time for another info episode. 🍰 I've been getting a lot of questions about bakery orders, so let's dive in. Ordering ahead at Cedar Tree Kitchen is your best bet if you're eyeing more than a couple of goodies.

Why, you ask? Well, I bake in small batches for our daily counter offerings. That's how we keep things fresh and delicious. Plus, there's a method to the madness when it comes to rotating flavors—it's all about variety!

Now, when it comes to additional orders, it's all about that refrigerator space dance. Every food establishment has to follow regulations, and fridge space is crucial. Placing custom orders early allows me to ensure I have the appropriate amount of refrigerator space for not only your order, but my counter offerings as well! I only bake what I can safely store to ensure everything is as fresh as can be.

Time for another eye-opener. Did you know that, despite working in an approved commercial kitchen certified by the local health department, my oven is no grand industrial beast? In fact, it's the same size as the one you've got at home! So not only am I dancing with refrigerator space, but I am playing a game with oven space as well.

Here's the deal: I'm a one-woman show running this small business. So, when I say I can't whip up 2 dozen cupcakes by day's end, it's not about not wanting to—it's about time, space, and having the right ingredients on hand. Every one of our treats is made from scratch, after all! Just remember it's not personal and I would bake every order if I could. So next time you want a dozen sweet treats, just give me a call and we can get it done!

Running a small business is a juggling act, and there's more behind the scenes than meets the eye. So, keep supporting local, keep shopping small, and do me a solid by placing those orders nice and early. I'm here for you, and I appreciate each and every one of you! 🌟 #ShopLocal #SweetSupport
